More historic action. My second climbing trip, and first time to Arapiles. All captions are the original ones published on my website in 1998.

DK > 14/1/98. Took, Erik, Lee and Pip at Dec Crag. Our first sight of Arapiles rock! The rain is receding into the distance
DK > 14/1/98. We set up camp in the Pines campground. We later moved to the best spot in the Pines after another group moved out. Beastor our faithful tripod structure stands guard

DK > 15/1/98. Now this is classic Araps rock! Took attempting some crack route near the Grotto. He fell off and blood was shed. If you look closely, you can see him munching down a wire. MMmmmm tasty
DK > 15/1/98. Bathing in the rapture of the immortal inscription on Castle Crag
DK > 16/1/98. Unknown wunderkid on Slopin' Sleazin' (28) on the back of the Pharos. It was his third day on the route and he had it down to 1 rest
DK > 16/1/98. Lee on the second (crux) pitch of one of the best middle-grade routes at Araps - Lamplighter, a 78m grade (14) on the Pharos.
